- Banker
- a selection you are very confident will win, often used in multi‑bets
- Bankroll Management
- the practice of setting and sticking to a budget for betting to avoid big losses
- Bonus Wagering Requirement
- the amount you must bet before you can withdraw bonus money, usually shown as a multiple of the bonus
- Cash Out
- the option to settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or limiting a loss
- Deposit Match
- a bonus that matches a percentage of your deposit, such as 100% up to a set amount
- Free Bet
- a token provided by the sportsbook that can be used to place a bet, with any winnings (minus the stake) returned
- House Edge
- the built-in advantage a bookmaker has in each bet, expressed as a percentage of each wager
- KYC
- the process of verifying a customer's identity to comply with legal and security standards
- Line Movement
- the change in odds or point spread after being posted, caused by betting action
- Live Betting
- the ability to place bets on a match while it is in progress, with odds updating in real time
- Moneyline
- a bet on which team or player will win a match, with odds adjusted for each side
- Odds
- the numerical expression of the likelihood of an outcome, also indicating the payout for a winning bet
- Odds Boost
- a promotion that increases the odds on a specific outcome, giving a higher potential payout
- Over/Under
- a bet on whether the total score of a match will be higher or lower than a set number
- Parlay
- a single bet that links two or more selections; all must win for the bet to pay out
- Point Spread
- a handicap applied to the favorite to level the playing field, requiring them to win by a certain margin
- Public Money
- the amount of bets placed by casual bettors, often influencing line movement
- Risk-Free Bet
- a promotion that refunds your stake if the bet loses, usually as a free bet
- RTP
- the percentage of total wagers a game returns to players over time
- Self-Exclusion
- a tool that lets you temporarily or permanently block your account from betting
