Iron –deficiency Symptom Checklist!
After a recent blood test, I was told I needed iron and a couple of my clients have found the same.
I felt the need to share these symptoms with my fellow women golfers.
Do you suffer from the following?
1) Are you continually tired and lack appetite?
2) Often have difficulty concentrating?
3) Feel chilly or catch colds easily?
4) Have brittle hair and fingernails that chip easily?
5) Do you find it hard to exercise?
If you answered “Yes” to any of these questions, you could be iron deficient.  Iron deficiency often goes undetected, so you may want to ask your doctor for a serum ferritin test, the most sensitive measurement of iron stores in your blood.
